Good day.
I would like to transfer my Contacts from my X8 to a PC and a Nokia phone.
When I export my contacts list, it creates a VCF file containing (supposed to be) all my contacts but it only has 1 contact (the first in the list).
I tried viewing this file using PC Companion and it was confirmed that it only contains 1 contact.
I tried transfering (Copy/Paste) this to my PC and opened this in MS Outlook, only 1 contact was opened.
I tried the 'Send All Contacts' via bluetooth and it also transfered 1 contact.
Thanks in advance for your help!
http://www.fjsoft.at/en/downloads.php Try using My Phone Explorer (MPE) to transfer your contacts (from both phone and SIM memory) from the X8 to the PC. Not sure about the Nokia--perhaps you can Bluetooth the contacts from the PC to the phone, or use Outlook, with which MPE will sync to, to transfer the contacts to the Nokia via the software it's compatible with.
Thanks Dr_Chris!
I've installed this don't know the reason why it can't establish a connection between the devices, wether by cable or Bluetooth. Both devices can be paired but can't send and receive.
I've started a bit intricate procedure and seems this will work ... I'll post it here if I'm successful.
http://www.androidfreeware.net/download-myphoneexplorer-client.html Make sure you enable USB debugging in your phone, if connecting via USB and/or try connecting via WiFi. Failing all of this, try installing the My Phone Explorer client in your phone from the above link, and then see if you can establish a connection with the PC version. Hope this helps.
Yup, USB Debugging was enabled. I'll try this client version.
Thanks again!
