Contacts search probles

I have problem with contacts search. When I am seaching a contact some contacts matching the criteria are not shown. For example I have a contact with firstname:"Mrs" and last name: "sali". But when I type "M" or "Mr" or "Mrs" this contact is not in found contacts. but if I type "s" or "sa" this contact is shown. I'm not sure but I thik before updating my phone to android 4.0.4 there wasn't such a problem in contacts search

Try performing a repair of your phone's software, and hopefully sorting this out that way.

I repaired my phone (and I lost whole settings) but the problem persists. My phone is xperia arc s and I have the latest updates. Now there is a google search widget in the main page. but it has the same behavior. It seems that its a bug.
