good day all , I have a xperia z1 compact at first all was well and I could receive everything via notification (bbm, whatapps, Facebook ,)without going into my screen after putting in the pattern I created, now I have to go in with the pattern first then my notifications come up long after the message was sent I have set the notifications everywhere but it still doesn’t pop up or notify me when a new message, bb or whatsapp comes in . could anyone tell me what can be done . I have done a software upgrade as well but it still does it. the phone is only 2 months old.please help

Have you disabled "Queue Background data" or put your social apps into Stamina Mode's white/active list?

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

You may also want to check the personalisation section of the handset and access Manage Notifications.

Menu > Settings > Personalisation > Manage Notifications > Look through the list and make sure there is a tick beside the apps.
