Man. As you know this forum is for people who are facing issues. So definitely you will see issues out here. Although more than 80% users of this phone are not there in this forum ie they might not be facing the problem.So its definitely depends on your hands.I like this phone and a lot do.

Infact this even got the best value award in India. So a must buy if you dont care about battery (still XPU lasts a day).

before ,,i did have a lot of problem with my xperia U, Like , network problem, battery drains easily, gets hot when using wifi, laggy,... but after i update to ICS using Update service, all my problems were solved . my phone last for 2days, network problem didnt show anymore, my phone became stable, and thats it..so i think u shud buy this phone
