SD Card not detected on Xperia M2

Had accidentaly removed my SD card while the phone was still on. Now the SD card is not being detected by the phone. How do I correct this?

Have you tried to restart the device after inserting the microSD?

Hi Bender001,

The SD card may also need to be backed up and formatted, this can be done by attaching it to a PC directly with an adapter if required.
