SD Card damaged

guys i have updated my xperia m2 dual to kitkat version since then i am experiancing the problem, the device shows the warning message "sd card damaged format and reinsert the card" but the problem remains even after formatting the same card or inserting a new one please help me with the issue

So have you tried to format it while connected to your computer?

Tried the PC formatting, dosent work.

In this case,try another microSD,yours might be damaged.

Tried another SD card. Encountered the same problems within 15mins of using it

You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

Tried this, memcard issues still persist. Will try a lower capacity memcard

Downgraded to a lower memcard. No issues again on that front

Hi,

OK.

I think my SD card: Transcend 16GB class 4 is giving problem. tried with same type with 2GB mem card, its fine. no issues till now.
