Screen repair so costly!!!!

I dropped my Xperia E3 Dual and the screen got damaged...it didn't break but some pixels have become black in coloured...I asked the Sony Store for the repair and they are charging me $110 (converted from Indian rupee). That'd more than half of the price of the phone....is the repair so costly? Plz help Sir...

I'm sorry to hear that but that sounds about right, the LCD and digitizer are glued together, so both have to replaced. There's an alternative but it will void your warranty, which is for you to buy the LCD+Digitizer and replace it yourself.

Doing it by myself won't be fitting the original parts in it...so it won't be that good...
