Screen 'moves' when I use the volume buttons and question about the speaker

Hello!

First of all I am very happy with my Xperia Z1.

But there are two things that are bothering me:

1. When I turn up (or turn down) the volume, it seems like I am pushing the buttins into the screen, You can see clearly that I'm bumping against the screen with the button. Is this normal? 

2. How many speakers does the bottom speaker bar have? Some websites say one, some say two. I only have one. There is only coming sound from the right side of the speaker bar. 

Once again, really happy with the phone, just these two things.

The speaker test for both speakers is coming from the same speaker. I don't notice difference between left or right, but I reckon when one of them wasnt working I wouldnt hear sound at all... 

And about the screen "moving", the salesman told me it was "normal". He said smartphones get smaller and smaller these days, and all the electronics are just packed so it touches each other... He then proceeded to help other customers

There are stereo speakers, sound sounds much different when it comes from single mono one, they are too small to notice "sides", but sound is different, much better than mixed down on one speaker.

About this moron (salesman) - I would report the idiot. This is a defect, all he did was to get rid of you to avoid returning "problem". I would call somewhere higher and talk about this lunatic. What a dumb explanation... smaller and smaller! Come on, dude.. ask him if his brain is moving (if he have any) when he puches his sorry ear..

Archanos is correct (though perhaps a bit blunt :smileysmileywink:) and this is certainly not normal. The phone will likely need to go in for repair and if the retailer is unwilling to assist you with this please contact your local.Xperia Care team and they will assist in arranging this.

I loose my nerves when I hear about such an ignorance of salesman who should be the first person to help there in the first place...

Great news! I e-mailed my phone provider, and told them what happened at the store. They replied almost instantly and apologized for what happened and told me I could call them. I called them and they allready sent a new phone, that will arrive tomorrow morning! I had a black Z1, and they didn't have it in stock, but they had white ones, and that's perfectly fine too.

I still don't understand why this person at the store didn't want to help me, but I guess I can't blame the provider for this. Just a bad salesman. I will file a complaint against the store..

Just got my new phone delivered, and it's great. The screen is not moving like the previous one when I push the volume buttons. So that was definitely not OK! (like the salesman said).
