screen crash

For the second time in under a year my X8 has had a screen crash the display just has a rainbow effect of colours it has  happend both times when not being used, thankfully phone4u are sending it back for repair again, there is no damage to the screen and has never been dropped but i always keep it in a silicone case for that reason, and it always has a screen protector, am i just unlucky. and what is causing it? anyone else had this problem

It could be a couple of things but I have not seen this happen on multiple times to one phone. What does the job report from the repair agent say regarding the previous repair?

i didn't get a job report the last time it was mended, i will make sure i get it this time and post my finding, thanks for the reply.

i have the phone back now and the repair was to replace/adjust the display 3.0tft (1235-2727),

I just hope this dosn't happen again, anyone any ideas what is causing it?
