requesting sinhala font ( Unicode)

Hi im Dilan, my device is sony xperia z . i can't read our country language on facebook and other websites. how to install SINHALA font in my device.. some people say root and copy to system/font folder to DroidSansFallback.ttf Font file.. but i can't root because my warranty is canceled after rooting .. can help me for the installing sinhala font? please, thank you..

I also having this problem. I thought this problem fixed after lollipop update. most of brand like Samsung, Nexus,LG, Huawei,HTC support for sinhala language. Can you add this for next update

I hope you already have noticed this issue. And we need a solution. We will not complaining about this issue until we have a favourable answer from you. I'm sure you have never experienced what is like to read your language as crossed small boxes. That feeling makes us sick.

Please keep Sinhala Language with the next update or give us some app to install Sinhala.

I have no idea why you need to remove something came up with Google Stock update.

Please Sony what ever the next update coming please include Sinhala.

Hi, Sony please add Sinhala to your mobile phones. All other smart phones having Sinhala (including Apple) why you cant? I have sony experia Z3 compact.I think is best phone. But It not true. Please give us sinhala for sony xperia. 😥

I've waited pateiently knowing that nexus lolipop updates started getting sinhala fonts on their devices and so Sony will too.

But bit dissapointed just to get squares instead of complete blanks as previously was visible when sinhala fonts came along a feed or text or email.

it's been 4 or 5 years that a standard sinhala uin code font was published and now almost an year since lolipop allowed unicode and also sinhala fonts specifically. Hope sony won't dissapoint us longer and give us an update officially.

i dont know wheter this forum is for discussion only. i mean only for users discussion. may be sony officials mayh not look into this. other wise they should post a replay or some thing . may be this is not the place to request some thing from them, if they see this and still they are not responding it is a serious issue. every one should discurage buying sony produts in sri lanka then. we can start a face book fan page or some site to promote discurage no sinhala sony phones.
