Remote Storage SFTP

Hi,

I'd like to know how secure is the SFTP Remote Storage when using a passprahse with an encrypted keyfile, and I have a few questions:

1: Does the keyfile get copied anywhere?

2: When the option to always ask for a password is not used. How is the passphrase stored?

2a: If encrypted, encrypted with what? Screen lock pin? Can it be decrypted without brute force?

Bascially if my phone gets stolen, what protections does the SFTP remote storage option provide for the passphrase.

Remembering your password will be stored as a cookie or in the apps cache which can be cleaned and or deleted and the encryption - I'll try and explain, You have a key for a door lock (This is your phone) and it works for you - Now that key may fit another lock but it won't open or unlock and that is because it is only designed for that specific lock you have so your encryption key will only work if it's been used by your phone - If it's transfered to another phone then the encyption won't match the IMEI for example and various other criteria

Thank you for a quick response. Could a more technical answer be provided?
