"SIM Is Perso Locked"

Hi,

When I try to use my mobile with a different network, I am getting this error "SIM Is Perso Locked". I read some old post where in I can see that it could be locked by network. Once I have sent my mobile to O2 t fix a problem with the screen. I am not sure If they locked during that time. Now I can see the information as [x] Network 3 (by using *#*#7378423#*#*).

I called O2, and they claim that It's not locked by them. based on one of your earlier post I went to to the Software Info and I can see Active Customization : 1288-6818_R6D. Does it prove that I was locked by O2? 

Any help would be useful.

Welcome to the community.

It does indeed sound like the phone is locked to a network, as an unlocked device should show Network 0.

I am not sure if it is locked to O2 but it seems likely. They may have installed O2 firmware on the device when it was repaired. Only they will be able to unlock it if that is the case.
