Hey Everybody

i've tried yesterday to get access to Android market from ma xperia arc for da first time but i cant :s

it requires a google account and i've one , da problem here is ma dad used the android market frm ma phone and he signed in frm his acc. and now he forgot his passward , nd i cant change da account to get access frm mine .

i 've tryin' to delete da account but a warning msg tell me dat if i do it 'll erase da data nd msgs of dis account i pressed continue deleting but still no use :s

how to change it Plz ?!

From where you are trying to delete the account, can you tell me?

And you can add another account and continue using android market and gmail fucntion.

For this go to settings

--- Accounts & Sync

---Add Account.

Then follow the on screen info and when u sign in with your account, u can access the market with your account.

Hi, you may want to consider a phone reset. This will ensure the removal of your dad's account which could prevent problem which might arise later. To reset phone, Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset.

Choice is yours.

dat 's what i do Auni , but when i return to android market app again it requires me to write da pass. of ma dad's acc. and i didnt found anywhere to get access frm ma acc.

which data exactly 'll erase if i do so ?!

is dat 'll affect ma app. on da mobile , is it 'll cause any harmfull effects ?! nd whenever i wanna change da acc. everytime it requires me doin' dis action !

it will delete everything

sms, mms, apps, contacts, settings

1) backup everything then

2) use SEUS to delete everything and update your phone or just do the factory reset

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the backup & restore app, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

Contacts

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

Apps

Don't worry so much about backing up your apps

on your computer go to

market.android.com -> log in -> click on My Library -> and send all your apps to your phone

SMS/MMS

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

Other methods on how to install the Backup & Restore app and/or other apps that are stored on your SD card

1st Method

How to install it

You need to

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

download IO File Manager

download the app on your computer, transfer it to your SD card, use OI file manager to find it -> tap on it -> install it

2nd method

download the apk on your computer, send it to yourself through email, make sure you send it to your Gmail

now on your phone

go to settings -> applications -> check unknown sources

wait for the email, once  you get the email, open it, and instead of downloading the attachment it will allow you to install it, voila, done

3rd Method

BOX and upload the apks from any computer

install the App on your phone -> open BOX -> tap on the app -> install it

4th Method by far the easiest

an even Easier alternative

download the app, transfer it to your SD card

Download Apk Manager
