Neo 4.0.2.A.0.62 photos numeration BUG

Hello

I just observed a bug in the new firmware

When i take a picture with the camera, the system give it a number, for example DSC_242. Well, i i delete this photo, and take others photos again, the numerations starts from DSC-242 and not 243 :smileyangry:.

Same if i take 10 pictures and delet it, the numeration start again with 242, is very annoying !!

Is there a solution, or wait for ICS ??

We wait wait wait, but the bugs are still here, and in every firmware there are new

that happens with all sony products, even their cameras, it actually kinda makes sense that it does, just leave the last picture and delete the rest

i wonder why they cant add date details in the camera pics..:smileyconfused:

if you take a screenshot , the name is "date" only so why dont they add this in default camera application..

This didn't happen with previous firmware, I'm sure at 100%

my photos start from 001 and now they are at 242 even if i deleted many photos, but whit this build when i delete, the number is always 242

that'll be a pain to transfer them w/ that name, since DSC_____ its a bit universal and it doesn't take a lot of space to see the whole name/number of the pic. but this is an smartphone, it should in a way keep track of which number was the last picture taken and go from there

yes they will start at 001 if there aren't any pictures in that folder, lets say that you left the 241 picture there, the next picture will be 242 instead of 001

Perfect, i left 241 there

and the next taked picture is 242, but if i delete the 242, and i take a new foto, it again is a 242, but would be 243

This didn't happened before, only with the last firmware

so i belevie is a bug

that's odd but maybe Neo its different, that has happened to me with the Arc, Play, X10 and other sony products

Based on the information I can see, it appears you are leaving the 241 image there, this would cause the phone to continue generating file names consecutively from that point. This is perfectly normal behavior of the handset.
