Problem with Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac

Hi,

I installed the Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac application, but impossible to use it.

It says something like "The application closed in an unexpected way" (I use a French language mac). Sometimes I can launch it for a few seconds though, but then still get the error message.

Have you checked that all system requirements are fulfilled?

Also (might be a stupid question) - have you tried to reinstall it?

Which phone model are you using?

Now that's strange...

My Sony Ericsson Bridge is also crashed.

After I start the apps, the crash report show up.

I fulfilled the system requirements, I have install, re-install, re-download and install it again... reboot the laptop, but it still can not be started...

BTW I'm using arc S and my error report says this :

You should contact the local support team (call them) and ask for some more advanced step-by-step troubleshooting. Have your Mac and phone available to make things easier.

Yep. We just bought a new phone, installed the software and all it can do is crash.... not a great start to the wifes sony experience!!

sorry to hear you have problems.

First of all, make sure you have the latest version. There were some stability issues with the earlier versions that should be resolved in the current version. Goto the "Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac" menu and select "Check for Updates". Current version as of today is v1.1.

(If your software crashes right away, you'd have to goto sonyericsson.com and download the software again and reinstall)

@Lairyliam, your error looks strange.. Do you you know if you have the latest version installed (v1.1)?

Do you know which system software you are using? Choose the Apple menu->About this Mac->Version ?

ok, so downloaded Sony_Ericsson_Bridge_for_Mac_1.1_b3023 (1).dmg and it actually opened long enough for me to see what the program was about, but before i could do anything it crashed.
