problem with ending the call

I have a problem to end/disconnect  the call. While talking and having the phome close to my ear the screen is off/black. Then I want to finish the call and take it in my hand the screan should turn on again. It doeesn't happend. It causes more problems when the person I'm calling to, does not answer and I want to disconnect without leaving a massage. It warked before. After last updates it stoped. Could you tell me that causes this?

Have you checked if the sensors are working correctly in Xperia Diagnostics? If not, you can give it a try.

I have been check the sensor and I found that it works properly but the problem remain.

@As14 Could you restart your phone into safe mode and place a call to see if this behaviour remains then as well?
