Hello i have a problem for the photo to my children becouse have blue eyes and the photo have alwais the effect red eyes, could you help me?

i test with and without red reduction but the result it's the same.

Even I have the same problem and photos look awful when the eyes look red instead of natural colour this happens most during the low light

You do realize the blue is only the iris of the eye not the cornea that is actually showing up as red in your images? 

The colour of your eyes doesnt matter when it comes to photography.. .try to take photos without the flash if possible but most times at certain angles red eyes are inevitable even with red eye reduction on.

red eyes appear on image, if i take a photo without flash the photo it's corret but with a z1 with 20 mpx and € 799 i expected more, if i take a photo with the smartphone of my wife 99€ with flash i don't have red eyes 😞

i know gianluigi.. we all accept (except sony directly) that their camera software at the momment is utter trash... its sad that thats what they are using to market the product. however, i didnt get the phone for the camera... anyway to solve your issue, why dont you try using the camera in manual mode, use the flash in fill mode and see if you still get the same red eyes?

how do i loose this red eyes that my z1 is taking at night some software update or some app to resolve this red eyes problem.my htc hd2 never shot red eyes its my only problem with the z1.

I too am having the red eye problem. I bought this phone (xperia z1s)for the camera. My LG snaped great pics. Whats up Sony?
