Phone thinks it's in flight mode

Hi,
My Xperia z3 is currently saying "turn your phone off flight mode" before making a call, I don't have a network signal. The wifi is still working (that's how I'm writing this) so the phone isn't actually on flight mode. I've tried rebooting and resetting, turning flight mode on and off loads of times, and nothing.

This has started happening when the phone is switched off, last week it died during the night and this happened, and it just randomly came back on the next night. I switched it off this morning and I've not been able to get it on since.

Any help would be appreciated. I saw another thread to download my pc companion and I clicked that link but after download it said could not open file.

Thanks

Lisa

Pc companion is a computer program, you have to download it on your computer

Hi,

I suggest that you open the cover for the SD-card, here you can find an OFF button which you can hold down (with the tip of a pen or a similar object) until a series of quick vibrations appear. When the phone powers off > Release the button > Remove the SIM-card and insert it again > Now power on the phone again to see if this can help.

Hi All, I tried all of the suggestions and nothing has worked. Any other suggestions? Should I consider sending the phone to Sony for repair?

Yes I tried it, it didn't work and just deleted everything off my phone so I've had to reinstall it all
