phone not starting

my phone is just 2 days old and firstly i had a problem with upgrading my phone to ics which was not resolved till the end. and now i had kept my phone on charging at night at 2 and in the morning at 9 when i pressed the unlock button the phone is not responding at all. it is just showing the green led light at the top and phone screen is also not coming. sony please look into the matter as soon as possible because all my work has come to a hault because of this phone not getting started.

try this:

connect your phone to a wall charger > press and hold the power button & volume up for 8 seconds > let it charge for 30min to an hour > then try to turn it on
