Performance problems with Xperia U ICS update

I am facing problems with my phone. The processor is busy most of the time unless I free it up with Advanced Task Killer. At times,I cannot even answer calls as the phone is busy and the Answer/Reject options take time to appear on the screen.:smileyangry:

Apps and games that worked faster onGingerbread 2.3 became very slow after I upgraded it to 4.0.

Is there any update/tweak I can do to rectify this??? Help please:smileysad:

Try flashing Indian ICS, it's realy good optimized. The best stock ICS ROM available on the internet.

No no... don't tell me that.

I have testet French and Indian ICS. Indian is waaaaaaaay better. I'm talking about Indian ROM with Astro, TOI pre-installed. Customisation number 1261-3755. French one hangs a lot, and i have encountered lot of slowdowns, Indian is the Best ICS ROM i saw, simply zero problems. Performance is even better than on my original GB imo.

Agree on that.The best ICS is the Indian ICS as its blazzing fast.No hangs at all.

I was telling from a technical point. Technically there is nothing different. Otherwise there would be need of different permissions from ptcrb.

I don't know, but maybe there are some differences in configuration files (build.prop etc). Like v6 supercharger changes some values and phone works faster...maybe this values are different for Indian and French ICS.
French and Indian ICS are 2 completly different ROMs in terms of performance. French ROM realy sucks, it hangs, freezes, and it takes very long time to do simple things like opening contacts app etc. In Indian ROM everything works ideal for me.
