Since updating my UK sim free Z1 to KitKat .757 on Friday I've had nearly all the bugs that others are reporting in this forum so I though now I have a little time I'll do a repair install of the firmware via PCC, well when I plug my phone in and click repair it says that there's no software for my phone
and to come back later, so that's no help, so I thought I would do a clean install via SUS but to my horror the Xperia Z1 C6903 isn't even listed in SUS so what am I to do now????????
How the **bleep** can I fix my phone now, I use it for work and I need it π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬
Come on Sony get your act together.
Is anyone else facing this problem?
Are Sony working on another fix??
if you are on windows 8 then try run SUS under compatibilty with windwos 7
Thanks for the idea but I am on windows 7, PCC was working fine on Friday when I updated, it seems that Sony may have pulled the firmware and now I'm stuck π¬
what if reinstall pcc or sus?
I could try and reinstall them but they were working up until Friday, and my laptop is running fine, SUS is showing all phone variants except C6903 and PCC says that there is no software, ie firmware for your phone, so it would seem that Sony has pulled the firmware from their server.
Well I tried again today and PCC showed my firmware, so I've managed to perform a repair install, which hasn't solved anything
That is even more disturbing news, that a repair/reinstall of .757 didn't solve any of the bugs.. I guess I will keep on waiting updating to .757, which popped in PCC about four days ago.
I would wait if I were you π I can't see any real benefit of KitKat yet π
