Pattern unlock without notifications

Hi,

When powering on the screen on my device I would like to see the 9 dots pattern right away so I can unlock the device quickly without hiding the notifications first.

Is it possible to achieve?

Try Settings -> Sound & notification -> Keep notifications on lockscreen -> Disable

Well the pattern is still not shown right away, I have to swipe up in order to show it

I guess it is a welcome change from previous builds. On earlier devices lot of people (me included) complained about self unlocking screen which could result in unplanned calls (on no pin/pattern lock devices) and bricked/factory reset devices (with pin/pattern lock and auto-wipe after number of tries which is quite common in corporate environment).

Welcome to the community!

Sergio is correct. As part of the lollipop update it is now necessary to swipe the screen before you enter your PIN, Password or Pattern. There's no way to disable this directly in the phone.

On the Z5 series though you can just use the fingerprint scanner and it immediately bypasses all of that and instantly unlocks your screen.
