Ok Google not working

My Xperia ZU doesn't react to ok google command.I have the phone about 1 month. The first days it took some attempts to launch google search with the ok google command.I've tried to train it with the 3-times ok google command. After a lot of attempts i've succeeded to train it and it was working just fine.I should mention that when i press manually the mic button it understand every single word i'm saying including ok google. It worked for a day or two and then again it wouldn't work.I've tried google exp launcher and nothing. While i was having this problem i was having some ghost touch problems so i did a factory reset.Even after the reset it doesn't react but now i can't even train it.It simply doesn't register ok google in the 3 step training.I've pressed delete model nothing. My default language is English US and the language under Voice is also English US.I've tried to switch to English Uk and then again US, nothing. My Google app, play services and play store are all up to date.Ive cleared the cache in these apps and even uninstall updates and reinstall them still nothing.I dont know what to do.I have to mention that again after the reset if i press the mic it understands all words even ok google clearly.

I thought this feature was only for Nexus devices, I'm glad its for all Androids with 4.4.4

Phy, whenever I do this and tap to be on from any screen It prompts to the training page with the 3 times ok google command, which can't register my voice. Uliwooly so you think it it an issue in 4,4,4? Let's hope lollipop will solve this.

Boot on safe mode then try again:

Settings, Language and input, Voice Search, Ok Google detection, from any screen must be on

I booted in safe mode, gone to settings/language and input/voice search/ok google detection/From any screen and it prompts to the training page where i said almost 20 times ok google and didn't even pass the first check

Is there anything blocking the microphone?

If you mean physically,no.Tried both with and without handsfree. As i mentioned it recognises all words when i tap manually the mic button. If you are talking about another app blocking the mic then shouldn't the safe boot mode solve this problem?

What if you go to

settings > apps > all > google text to speech engine > clear data > restart your phone > try again.

I went to settings/apps and i realised that there wasn't the google text to speech app installed on my device.I downloaded it and went to the ok google detection tab.I only said ok google 6-7 times and passed the 3 checks. Now it works from home screen and from any screen also.Thank you
