No repair option in SUS anyone has .ftf for 1248-9517

Hello Guys,

Before, I update to ICS, need to backup my current firmware.  i was following the some information given by super users

and also

but my SUS dos'nt have any repair option.

when i tried with PCC, in downlaoding software step, it says 'There is no software available on server'.

I am also posting picture of Service info,

if someone has this ftf than upload or tell me how to do that.

I'm not sure I get what you want.

You want to update to ICS, but before doing that you want to backup your data (I assume you mean this). What about SUS not having a repair option? Where does that come into the picture? And what should I don this this screenshot? And what .ftf file are you looking for?

Yes, I want to update my Xperia with ICS and before doing that i want to backup my current firmware which is working fine. I have seen many posts to make ftf using SUS doing repair in phone and selecting two main files from db...blob_fs in SUS. But when i try with SUS to repair my phone i have not seen any option of repair. well this screen shot i have taken from my phone after dialing *#service#*   in case anyone already prepared the ftf for this version.

If you want to update your phone to ICS you should use PC Companion.

For backup I suggest you have a look at My Backup in Google Play Store. Personally I don't do backups at all. I just sync my stuff with Google.

For the rest of the stuff you are talking about, I still don't get what you're trying to do.

I want to backup my whole firmware or you can say the GB 2.3.4

What is your model? Are checked this if your SI number updated?

Is this version of SUS has repair option? did you check?
