Neo V new ICS update to avoid rebooting bug

Few months back my Neo V started restarting continously when i updated to ICS. In order to use the phone, i got it downgraded it to GingerBread through an authorized service center.
I wanna know whether any stable ICS update has been launched, so that i can start using ICS????

10 seconds are strange.. normally its 3-5 seconds ( people are facing)..

There is no harm in installing your phone's software again but if you do so then format your sd card and then begin, it may change your experience ( a lot )

Thanks a ton Nabeel. I wanted to thank you before, but could nt log on as I had forgotten my password :smileygrin:.. I repaired my phone as told by you and believe me it now works like a charm.:smileyhappy: Although I did nt format my SD card. Do you suggest I try once more after formatting my SD card, just to omprove the experience further? i m not regularly facing any problems with the dialer, though it some times does get slow. The web browser too gets slow at times but quite manageable I guess..

Leave it, although memory card affects a lot try some other time iif you wish , or do it today itself

Meta data of gb and Ics cream sandwich is different..... so some apps store a lot of data on memory card ..... so that data stord when on Gb is now useless on ICS and rather creates troubles

Why is this happenning? I am facing lot of problems in my SE Neo V mobile. I updated my phone officially last week. The problems are serious and so irritating. The older version of android 2.3.4(Gigerbread) was gud when compared to this newer version of ICS. I am Facing these problems.

1. My phone dialer is too slow and takes more than 5 econds to open a dialer.

2. Unable to forward messages since it gets stuck in the contacts adding option itself when I use the forward option. And it must be Switched off and On to get back to home screen. Or else i cant message any 1 else.

3. Anything being copied to any folder using Computer show a message saying that The device is currently being stopped and cannot copy files.

     This is the most irritating part that i encounter always.

4. Any game like HD is not woking. It either crashes down or the application doesn't get opened at all.

can anyone please tell me How to fix these errors?? I am really Facing so many problems like these with the newer Version of Android ICS 4.0.3.

And i read that using sony PC companion and also update service setup v could fix these bugs.. But doing this will expire the warranty of my phone??

Regarding SUS and PCC - Nopes... these are official software and using them is totally acceptable. No warranty void.

1) its a bug

2) Rinstall your software

3) Reinstall software

4) Games are not compatible with ICS... needs to be fixed by games developers

so in short-- reinstall your phone's software.. your experience may change ( it is suggested to format your sd card... for a clean installation and better experience )

Update/Repair your phone via PCC OR SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

hello everyone..!...i updated my neo v to ics last month and facing some bugs...

-navigation doesn't work(default navigation app)
-led light doesn't work(only for sms)

-sometimes touch doesn't work(in apps)

I've repaired my phone as the support center suggested, but nothing was fixed. Does anybody know how to make it all work again?

In what way doesn't navigation work? Regarding the LED, it's reported earlier and we are looking in to it. Have you found any pattern in where the touch doesn't work, which apps for example?

about the navigation... when I start navigation after enabling GPS, it shows getting location and after that if i touch the screen anywhere it closes instantly.
and the touch problem,sometimes the touch works sometimes it doesn't.i had this problem in 'Talking Tom Cat 2','GT Racing','Can Knockdown' etc.and about the pattern,in talking tom cat 2 only the icons do not work.and in Can Knockdown the touch doesn't work at all......

There is not any general problem with restarts in the latest version of ICS for Xperia Neo V. The restart may been caused by some other conditions in your phone. So you should be able to update your phone to ICS without having the phone reboot all the time.

However GB may be experienced a bit faster and more stable then ICS in general for Xperia neo V.
