my wifi wont turn z3

My wifi use to turn on and off fine I would turn it on at home to avoid data the last few days it won't do nothing WiFi won't turn on go so settings swipe it from off to on it turn light blue but doesn't come up tried turning off phone to reset still same why won't it turn on

Good day.

After updating my xperia z3 the other day to lollipop 5.0.2, I have noticed that my phone cannot turn on its WiFi.
I toggle it from off to on. And just idles on 'Turning on wifi' which I cannot get past
I've tried rebooting, turning it completely off for hours to cycle, airplane mode off/on and unfortunately I'm still burning through data allowance from my provider.

@shagy959 @Thethirteenth could you both try performing a system repair as below

Performing a system repair using PC Companion will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP
