Microphone issues

Hi

My mic has stopped working again:

Things that did not work

1) Reset (worked initially on a couple of occasions)

2) Removing installed softwares

3) Unchecking Noise suppression

4) Upgrading to the latest software

5) Did everything on the previously mentioned threads

I am sure it is not a hardware problem, because in the past, things used to be fixed with a reset.

It is a pity that Sony messed up on the most important feature in a good phone

try to repair once more,

also try to dial *#*#7378423#*#* service test> microphone, see if it works

if the microphone did not work on the service test, its most likely hardware issue.

Never dropped it..not even a scratch. The phone is 6 months old.

Can I set my phone to use the secondary mic?
