If you wish, use a pair of tweezers to take it out. If not,let a sony service handle it.

Do you not have to push it is a little to release the lock on it then it should pop out enough to remove it with your fingers

hi thommo, i kind of expected the feeling that a lock will be released when i push the microSD in(just like the micro sim, which works), but apparantly there is no feeling that a lock is released even if more strength is used to try and push the microSD inwards to release it. The microSD works though, but will be a problem if i have to remove it

Hi,

There should be a "lock" for the MicroSD-card where you need to push it and it will pop out so you can remove it with your fingers. I suggest that you use a fined-tipped pen or similar to press the SD-card inwards.

Hi,

I have tried to use more strength to release the 'lock' for the microsd card but I still cannot release it. I have already contacted the Sony care centre and will be bringing my device down tomorrow to be checked by them

update:

i have sent my phone to the sony care centre and they also have difficulty trying to remove my microSD card from the slot even with a tweezer. They told me that such cases are rare and does not occur very often. Anyways, my phone is now bring serviced and i will get it back in about a week time. Thanks everyone who gave me some advice and solution to remove it even though it didn't work.:smileysmileythumbsup:
