This is not an error I have come across before and so have just been having a bit of a look around. It seems this is an error experienced by a lot of people when installing a variety of media based software on their PC. unfortunately I cannot access the links themselves regarding this issue however if you want an alternative you can simply access the phones storage as a USB storage device and drag and drop the content you wish to transfer.

thanks, but really need a better solution as some files need to formated for the phone as draging them over and waiting for four hours for a movie clip to be converted is a pain. It was much easier with the iPhone as it was converted straight away.
