M2 Problems

M2 Problems.

I got the M2 new in August, got an update in October and have had nothing but problems since.  I don't receive phone calls at random times, its as though the phone is asleep, if I make a call first, it wakes up.  I thought at one point it was only when connected to the internet Wifi but now its anytime.  I have gone from 8am this morning answering a text, to 4pm this afternoon and not getting texts through or an important phone call.

I did a factory reset at the weekend and thought that would be fine, I waited three days before clicked the button to update the phone, but its gone daft again.

Problems I have had

Calls not getting through, yet signal strong, phone switched on, no diversions in place.

Texts not coming through.

Alarm/Clock suddenly lost the slider on the screen when it needed turning off, whole phone had to be turned off and on again.

from what I have read above this is a problem thats been going on for at least six months.  Has it been fixed, or do I need to do an other reset and just ignore the update reminder.

Thanks in advance, this is realy getting me down, and not helpful when my disabled hubby needs to call me and I'm not getting the calls

Get a brand new SIM card and check again, also uninstall any taskiller or antivirus apps.

I cant get a brand new sim card, I have a number that I've used for over 10 years and is on a business card too....I need to get this fixed immediately so I can get the calls from doctors and hospital....

I've done a factory reset yet again, this time I have not activated wifi or data....i read somewhere else that people noticed when wifi activated it stopped calls gettign through, if the same thing happens again i'll know its not the internet. 

Other users say they've had problems with the M2 since the update and wondered if they had the problem solved.

Why can't you retain the same phone number with a brand new micro SIM card? just contact your network and request a new SIM card w/o changing your phone number.

Because i needed to sort it out immediately, like yesterday without having to wait for postage and god knows what.  Perfect example this morning, hopsital rang to say come straight away and my stupid **bleep** phone wouldn't accept the call.
