Low sound in some apps, black dot on screen and battery doesn't last?

Hello everyone. I just bought myself a z5 and I noticed some "problems"..
First one is low sound on Skype and fb messenger,
Second one is a small black dot on the side of the screen,
And the third one is the battery witch doesn't last long.
Did you experienced this problems or is just something normal? Can I solve this issues somehow?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Ionutmatei,

Welcome to the community.

For the Facebook and Skype sound issue, because these are third party apps you will have to contact the developers for assistance with them.

The black dot, is that persistent? As in, is it always there? It sounds like a dead pixel. Sony Mobile generally counts 2 dead pixels as "acceptable", though I'm not sure what your local rules are in regards to this. I recommend you contact your local support team to find out if this is warrantable.

For the battery issue, we need more information. How long does your battery last? Can you charge your battery to full, then use it until it's 10%. Make note of how long it took to drain to this level, then go to Settings > Power Management > Battery Usage. Note down the apps here and what percentages they are using.

Yes the black dot is always there, is not very big but still it botheres me.
Also with the sound issue I noticed that the top speaker is louder than the bottom one when playing music or games or anything.
I haven't try the battery iet but I'll let you know when I do that.
Thanks.

@Ionutmatei,

Can you test the speaker in safe mode and see if the same issue persists?

It's still the same, the top one is louder and has more bass.

@Ionutmatei,

Try running a software repair. It may help with the battery issues too.

Is that going to void the warranty?

@Ionutmatei

The software repair will not void your warranty, no. It is a process designed by Sony using Sony apps. It will re-install the operating system of your handset with the official software, not a custom ROM.

After having done a lot of Repair with PCC, or having flashed FW with Flashtool, the top one is always louder with more bass than the bottom one, who plays music at a lower volume, not a big difference, but I'm a DJ and I can feel the difference every beat and once I get my phone near my ear ...

I tried everything but still the same. I'm very disappointed with this device!
