Hi Sony,
I have some weird problem with my Xperia U. If I receive a call while listening to music through earphone, phone will only vibrate. Nothing is heard through the earphone. After receiving the call, call timer display will come start after 4-5 seconds. Now, nothing is audible. I removed the earphone, then also loudspeaker both front and back is not working. After disconnecting the call, I played the music, but nothing is audible
I received a call without earphone plugged in, loudspeaker totally stopped working
Only way to set it right is to restart the phone!!!
Please let me know whether this is a software issue or hardware issue. If hardware issue, guide me to get a replacement. If software, fix it ASAP.
This should be fixed soon.
Please help!!!!
Thanks,
Adi

Okay Aimee.
There are many bUgs reported in this forum. We hope we will get a system update soon addressing all the bUgs posted in this forum. And we WISH we won't have these many bUgs in the ICS update.
Thankx,
Adi

Hi all. I faced this problem once on the day next to when I bought the phone. The phone didnt hang or shut down or anything and there were no drilling noises, but there was no audible voice in either side during a call including no ringing sound when the phone rings. This happened when I was listening to music with my earphones plugged in and I got a call. After it happened I called some numbers and even tried calling my phone from many phones but no sound was audible. Songs played fine as did videos and the recording worked fine too. I didnt restart the phone when it happened but just did a soft reset to solve it. I found that this problem was caused due to the live wallpaper in the phone. Once you remove the live wallpaper and set a static wallpaper, the phone is just as attractive but this problem didnt happen anymore (I didnt like the live wallpaper anyways...:smileysilly:). Hope you guys can do something about it and get to enjoy this wonderful phone (as far as I have experienced it). I just wish the ICS update works well when it gets released for Xperia U. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I dont know whether the issues reported are solved in the recent updates by Sony...
I have not updated to the recent releases by Sony. I wonder does Sony really have its testing team alive and do the actual testing!!! There are many basic issues being reported repeatedly.... Why cant you resolve these issues first ? what is the use of these useless updates? As reported in this forum the recent update has a network drop bUg!!! So, BASIC FEATURE of the phone has a bUg, which is not notices by Sony developers or the testing team(if there is any)....
Sony is making its customers to test the phone/software.
Really not waiting for ICS update. Dont want to waste time for testing sony's bUg software...
And Sony, please take YOUR time for testing your next updates. Every new update is getting a new bUg!!!
Thanks,
Adi
