Hi

Last week I updated to Lollipo, since then the only time the LED activates is when the battery is charging, I've checked in setting and its enabled (I've tried disabling it and re-enabling) I've also tried the same for individual apps (Whatsapp and viber) with no joy. The notifcation bars do appear on the lock screen

Stamina mode is disabled

Build number is:14.5.A.0.242

I'm unable to recreate your issue. Do you have notification on Silent, priority or Sound? only the later will work for you to have LED notifications.

So...the LED notifications will ONLY work when the phone is set to loud?? BRAVO Sony!! One of the main points of having LED notifications in my view is so that when you have your phone set to silent, you can see that you have notifications that need your attention.

As my phone is in silent the majority of the time, what a ridiculous move this is. Just another reason why I will be going back to KitKat.

This has been changed on the latest update on the Z3 which means the same should happen with other Xperias Z series.

Along with performance and stability tweaks / improvements, here’s a rundown of what’s fixed and included - we've:

Ensured the lock screen / notification bar doesn’t indicate “no service” when the device has coverage

Added a Sony feature; bringing back the "close-all-button" in the activity menu, so you can easily close all apps at once

Unblocked devices with server policies (such as Exchange Active Sync for e-mail), to enable the new Lollipop lock-screen notifications

Ensured the LED light is lit across all sound modes - and no longer offset by “silent”

Made the necessary fixes to enable the easy movement of content from internal memory to external microSD card (something we saw affecting a few devices)
