Landscape Xperia S with charger gone?

I've noticed something the landscape mode on the homescreen/launcher doesn't work/rotate anymore (to landscape) when the wall charger it's connected, only with the HDMI cable, is this a bug, am I doing something wrong, I already try different firmwares (.50) but I can't figure it out.

If I was to be honest I wasn't really using Smart connect that much so I'll just ignore it from the playstore until Sony sort it out.

At least you figured out what was causing the problem though so congrats, I can now uninstall "Car Mode On" & "Smart Connect" which will give me a little RAM back.

I was using it with my smarttags but I rather have this landscape mode than the update on that app

If you know how to disable the update from the Play Store that would be great. If not I'l wont be able to do "Update All" anymore.

Please fix your Smart Connect Application as it is stopping your users who have updated from Liveware to have Landscape enabled charging. This mystery was found by user "Uliwoody"

I hope Sony see this. It would be funny if they put out the standard "Please re-install your phone using the PCC":smileylaugh:

I've uninstalled updates again, but mine only goes as far back as 3.3.60 and the landscape function has gone in that version 😞

still this ins't fixed, i tried with the not updated livemanager, and also with smartconnect, it doesn't go into landscape on homescreen...
