Jellybean 4.2.2 update SMS problem ~ Return key not working

Seems I'm the only one (so far) experiencing this as I've searched online for the solution with no luck. As the title suggests, my "return" or "Enter" key in the keyboard is not working.

Say when texting or creating an SMS, JB 4.1's return key would create a "new paragraph", putting the "Insertion Point" just below the first paragraph. But after updating to JB 4.2.2, the "Enter" key does nothing at all. Pressing it doesn't put the "insertion point" below the paragraph, it just does nothing.

I find it really annoying since in JB 4.1.2, I use it frequently when texting. Now I have to send 3 seperate texts instead of 1 with 3 paragraphs in it. It's probably just me or is their a fix around this. If it's a bug, then I guess I'll just have to wait until sony's next update 😕

Hey..u are right aleoos..!! By selecting the option "I never want to have any word and letters replaced" the problem can be solved..!!

Now I can write the new paragraph to new line..!!

But this is definitely a bug in Sony' JB 4.2.2 software..!!

i had the same problem 

what i have done is 

1)either set your default keyboatd to chinese keyboard and use it as and english keyboard 

2)or turn your word suggestions on for the normal keybaord .Only thhen your enter key will work
