Hello, i've recently updated 2 phones to Jelly Bean (6.2.A.0.400).
The problem is that even if the NFC is enabled, it doesn't detect SmartTags nor the other Xperia P (Android Beam).
Anyone can confirm?
P.S. None of the 2 Xperia Ps can detect each other or the SmartTags. Will try with a Sola on ICS later.
Edit: It doesn't even work with android bean between my Xperia P on JB and a Sola on ICS!
Edit 2: Reverted my Phone to ICS while i left the other one on JB. Android beam works between the Phones now (Xperia P to Xperia P), SmartTags on the JB don't work while on my Xperia P running ICS works. (Both phones have Smart Connect installed and Xperia SmartTags too).
I think the nfc tags do not work anymore,i read somewhere here that you need to use an app for nfc, something like smart connect or xperia link.
It was mentioned on another thread that you need to install Smart Connect in order for the smart tags to work!
I had to unistall updates from Smart Connect to make NFC tags working again with the NFC Task Launcher app
Yeah, i've seen it but i had Smart Connect installed since ICS. Not even android beam works when i touch the phones back to back, just like my NFC is dead.
I've uninstalled updates from Smart connect, even unistall / install smarttag, and nothing works.
My NFC tags are not reconized anymore
I'm back to ICS for now, JB is a bit buggy for me, plus the NFC works like a charm on ICS.
If anyone has the same problem and fixed it i'd be happy to hear the solution :smileywink:.
P.S. Does anyone's LED touch keys stay on randomly after locking the device on JB? Seems weird...
repeatedly reboot device!
it is need for nfc search and update NFC FW!
I had the problem of the LED touch keys staying on, solved for mee by unistalling Illumination Bar app and rebooting..
I thought about it but it's very helpful with the notifications and didn't want to uninstall it . I will try later when i reflash JB .
