¿Is it normal? Battery drains too fast because of "Android O.S."

Hi,

I'm using Android ICS on my Xperia U (Official Iberia 4.0.4 -- 6.1.1.B.1.10 compilation) and I'm having trubbles with the battery behavior because the process "Android Operating Sistem" (Sistema Operativo de Android in spanish).

¿Can someone please help me?

Here is a screenshot, in 3 hours 12% battery drawn in standby mode 95% of time.

Hello,

I asked in a known smarphone forum and some users answered that they have the same problem with the Iberia ROM 4.0.4, but there are a lot of other users with the same ROM who don't have the probem, so it's not 100% sure it is caused because of the ROM.

Anyway, it seems to be a "common" issue for (at least)spanish users.

Would like to have some help here please.

By the way, I thought it was the Sony official support forum, but nobody from Sony said a word here. What is happening??

its not only for spanish...wid me too was d same...try dis...::

use ur phone n discharg it to around 2% and then completely charg it to 100% and aftr that restart ur phone...even try dis: after discharging to 50% charg it to 100% n dn restart ur phon n then use it...

i saw lot of change in battery life due to it...u try too..

i aint using extended standby mode even then gives me about 1day+...

try it n dn tell me wat r d results..

Also try to uninstall unrequired apps and disable the ones which are uninstallable. Further take care the constant use of GPS and wifi. Rooting and removing bloatware also helps.
