Hi,
I'm using Android ICS on my Xperia U (Official Iberia 4.0.4 -- 6.1.1.B.1.10 compilation) and I'm having trubbles with the battery behavior because the process "Android Operating Sistem" (Sistema Operativo de Android in spanish).
¿Can someone please help me?
Here is a screenshot, in 3 hours 12% battery drawn in standby mode 95% of time.
yes, there are times when android OS sucks up the battery. 60% is too high.
but in the short time, of 3 hrs nothing can be said for sure.
Use your phone normally till battery drops to around 30% and then post screenshot.
usually it will be around 10-20.
And you can also check running applications and kill everything what you don't need
That screenshot is made with the fresh installation, no other apps installed, just the default ones.
So, it is not because any application installed by me.
Damnit, I can confirm this, my phone only last for 5 hours tops. It's always Android-system which is 76% atm.
Barely any background apps.
Also, most of the time I can't take screenshots.
then you've got a serious problem. Restart your phone immediately, if you haven't done it recently. If it doesn't work, repair you phone with SUS or PCC.
Hi again,
I have a new screenshot after some hours of use, same result:
As you can see, I haven't used my phone for playing, calls or any other thing that use up the battery, 95% of time in stand by mode.
Any help would be appreciated.
Another screenshot of the detail of "Android Operating System", I'm pretty sure is not common having so much CPU time:
Thanks in advance.
I'm sure it isn't normal. My phone acted like this a week ago. Restarted it once, and now getting 2 days backup in stand by mode most of the time.
If the problem persists, do a SOFTWARE REPAIR with PCC or SUS.
I've allready tried to restart my phone, but the problem persists.
I also tried to flash it with the Sony official ROM (4.0.4 Iberia), I did it twice and still having the same battery problem.
So I'm going to repair my phone with PCC, the only thing a haven't tested yet.
Thanks, if someone has other suggestions please tell me.
