internal memory not recognised after 4.2.2 update

Internal memory of my phone Xperia. L cannot be recognized by phone after upgrading to 4.2.2. I am not able to open my gallery for this reason. But I am able to play songs after Walkman update. Plz let me know a fix or turn around for this

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Try clearing data for the album and media storage application.

Settings > App's > All > Album > Clear data

Settings > App's > All > Media storage> Clear data

Reboot your phone and open the album app again and check if you still run into the same problem.
