Internal Memory issues

Hi, I bought Sony Live with walk man in November 2011, I have seen the configuration for this mobile is 512MB RAM, so this will be help ful to upgrade to ICS and my phone internal memory is 320MB, please let me know can i able to increase my internal Memory size and if yes what can be the maximum possible memory size.

Hi, internal memory size couldn't be increased by any way
Don't worry about ICS, you would be able to install it successfully

Honestly speaking, i really don't now, infact no one except developers

But a good news- For Arc S, internal memory on GB was around 310mb but after installing ICS, i have got 330 mb free
That might be the case for you as well

Hi! I'm using the Sony Live with Walkman WT19i. My internal memory is quite low, though I've moved most of the downloaded applications to the memory card. I have to keep clearing the app data and cache to keep the free storage numbers high. I've also noticed that the internal memory storage capacity keeps changing even without installing or uninstalling any apps. For example, in the day it shows ,say, 110 mb free, by evening it will show 100 mb free and by night it may go up to 120 mb without any changes to the phone. Even with the wi-fi/internet data turned off..

What may be the reason for this? Is it some sort of a bug?

And I'm really keen on getting the phone upgraded to ICS, as you said, it offers better memory management and also has exciting new features. Do you know by when the ICS upgrade will be rolled out for the Live with Walkman. Can you please help me with a link that I can check and follow to find out the date of the upgrade for my phone?

the reason is system apps

Such apps use phone memory and it varies regularly so no need to worry
Playing games, messaging, clicking pics all reult in ram as well as some amount of memory usage
it could be due to anything, what you need to knw is its normal :smileyhappy:.....

For your mobile, ICS is planned to be released by end May/early June

HI

I am using Sony Ericsson W8 mobile. Using Link2SD software i move all application in my external memory.

Now My internal memory shows 90.3 MB free & 121MB used.

Still My mobile not working fast and tell me which application using my internal memory.

Please suggest for fast working

Speed of mobile depends on ram and not on internal memory ( it depends but not that much, only affects if your phone memory becomes less than 40 mb )

Few suggestions are,

1- restart your mobile more often as it clears up ram

2- do not install a lot of widgets on homescreen

3- uninstall unnecessary apps

4- force close some apps that you don't use
