Just remove the existing google account from settings>account and sync.

Go to google play & login again....

or

Make another gmail account from your device & use that for downloading apps...

You could also try the following,

Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Play Store > Uninstall Updates.

Once the above has been done simply start the application and try download.

Hi Jake,

Even am facing this problem. Earlier everything worked great yesterday before updating the firmare to .184 I faced this problem then I updated to .184 firmware even then the problem persists.

I have followd these steps also but no success.

Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All > Play Store > Uninstall Updates.

Is ther any workaround for the same. Please look in to it.

Waiting for your quick response.

Thanks,

Ranjith, this is a connectivity error you are facing, especially with connections in India. The 403 error can be stopped and you can successfully download apps by following these simple steps;

Go to Settings>Wireless and Network settings>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names.

Now open  whichever access point you use to browse on your phone (the one which is currently selected). In it, if there is a set of number in the PROXY, remove it and click Ok. You will notice that it will be written after you do it.

NOW, go download apps !!!
