How to downgrade to ICS after JB upgrade?

The JB upgrade is a big dissapoitment for me, everything that I liked about my Xperia is gone. WHY DO AN UPDATE THAT TAKES AWAY EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOOD? Here is my list that I miss after 4 days of JB:

  1. lock screen notification (received messages, emails, missed calls, facebook events, calendar updates) are gone, all what I get is a stupid picture on the lock screen.
  2. LED notification - it only flashes on white, until now there were different colors for different events (red, green, blue, white).
  3. the nice blue live wallpaper
  4. I really like the black background color in the contact list, keypad, messages, incoming calls. Now it's white (or gray or something) and it's really hard to read it, in direct sunlight it's almost impossbile.
  5. The automatic backlight adjustment is not wokring anymore, I checked the settings and ieverything is set up correctly.
  6. Using stamina mode drains the battery faster than ICS without the power saving feature.

In one word: thank you Sony for ruining the best phone I ever owned until now. It's almost like having an ugly plastic Samsung. How can I go back to ICS?

Hello uliwooly,

Do you know of a fix for running JB on an Xperia Go? (also know as Xperia Advance)

Since I upgraded to JB, my phone has been freezeing constantly. I read JB uses more memory and you need to have around 200 of free memory for th ephone to run smooth. At first I thought it was because of some new apps I downloaded, but then read posts in forusm and realized it's the JB upgrade.

I don't have my phone rooted, and I did a re-install from the Sony desktop app, but the phone keeps freezing.

Do you know if there are any simple tweaks I can do to fix it or is the only solution a downgrade to ICS?

I appreciate your help Slightly_smiling_Face
