home button doesnt work

hey guys, after receiving my sony sola in the mail, i updated to latest software, then found that my home,back and menu key no longer work, restoring the phone to previous software had no effect as buttons still no longer work...Phone itself still works, touch screen works perfectly and calls out/in but no way to go back after opening any menu... has anyone had this issue? and what advice should i take?

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

i have installed both programs and repaired the phone with both programs to no avail, the three buttons remain unresponsive... perhaps a hardware fault? they worked when i first used the phone but no longer work at all.,.

Yup

Unfortuantley you will have to get them checked at service center
