Device Admin. enabled

Hello

I'm using a Phone tracking application (Cerberus) and I'm asked to have my Device 'Admin Enabled'. If I understand this correct it means granting Administrator rights to the aplication. Is that correct? Do I have access to my phone at Admin level? Can this be changed?

It means giving the admin rights to that app

You don't have access as administrator

You get it only if you root your mobile

So that means I can give others Admin rights on my phone but I cannot grant those rights to myself unless I root my mobile (which I'm not sure is supported by Sony)...

Actually those are not exactly admin rights.

Your mobile doesn't provides those apps with admin control, ofcourse not,

But Administrator control provides few special rights that a particular app needs.
