Hide specific information on notifications?

I wish to find out how if possible, to have a notification which shows only the name and not the message, thanks in advance...

Welcome to the community!

Which application are you talking about? If you are referring to the Messaging app then as far as I know only the name or number of the contact is displayed unless you expand the notification.

It is the apps such as WhatsApp and basically any messaging app that is used... Thank you.

I've never used WhatsApp so I cannot help you there I'm afraid. But in general the message is only displayed when you expand the notification or if the message isn't too long. To my knowledge there is no setting to change this.

Settings, app and notifications, when devices is locked and choose don't show notifications at all, please let me know if it works

That setting will set the phone to not show any notifications at all when your phone is locked. It will not hide specific content.
