HELP PLEASE!! my sony xpiria t is broke :(

when i try to charge my sony xperia t, it will charge for about 2 seconds turning on and showing the beginging phase of the start up (the sony logo) and showing the red led light but no matter what i do i cant get it too stay on it will always turn off after about two seconds please help

Performing a system repair using Pc Companion will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Your phone must not be switched on at all - Please read the guide again

You can use flashtool aswell if you have the ftf for your phone model. Just connect the usb to your phone holding volume down when it prompts you to

As thommo says phone must not be on. If your stuck at Sony logo it sounds like a kernel issue which is an easy fix
