water got into my phone after taking a couple of photos on the pool. i opened the micro SD/sim card slot and drained the water. afterwards, i dried the phone using a blower. i also tried opening the back cover so i can blow the insides. the phone wont turn on so i tried to charge it. the screen worked, LED lights lit and the phone vibrated 3 times after i push the power button. while charging, i tried to turn on the phone, pressed the power button+volume up button. the "Xperia - Sony" loading screen appeared afterwards, the charging status appeared (the one with the big battery picture). i tried to turn it on again but the same things happend. i disconnected it from the charger and tried to turm it on but it wont
The blower part was a bad thing to do,you could have damaged the circuits.Contact a close sony service:

i made sure i have not touched anything when i opened the back part to blow. i only took the back cover and thats it. everything was still intact including the battery. but still it wont turn on 😕
I still think the best thing you can do now is let a sony service handle the device.
He can try though.
i guess the phone is already all dried up. but im going to try anything to recover my phone. im now trying to reinstall my software :3 thought it may help because the phone turned on when i charged it (showing only the "xperia-sony" loading screen" and battery level photo).
You can try to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).
done repairing the siftware using the PC companion. the software was updated but the phone still wont turn on 😕
