Z3 wont turn on :/

water got into my phone after taking a couple of photos on the pool. i opened the micro SD/sim card slot and drained the water. afterwards, i dried the phone using a blower. i also tried opening the back cover so i can blow the insides. the phone wont turn on so i tried to charge it. the screen worked, LED lights lit and the phone vibrated 3 times after i push the power button. while charging, i tried to turn on the phone, pressed the power button+volume up button. the "Xperia - Sony" loading screen appeared afterwards, the charging status appeared (the one with the big battery picture). i tried to turn it on again but the same things happend. i disconnected it from the charger and tried to turm it on but it wont

The blower part was a bad thing to do,you could have damaged the circuits.Contact a close sony service:

I still think the best thing you can do now is let a sony service handle the device.

@alex what will Sony do when he contact them? The water went inside + they will say he tried to fix the device in third party which will automatically disable the warranty. Sony wont do anything except giving clue how to fix it him self. Or they can fix/give a new phone for money.

@good

Open all flaps and if you still have back opened but it into a bag of rice and close it tightly so no air will go inside. Wait a week. After a week try to change it for 30 mins and try to boot it then

Keep us updated, and taking the back cover wasn't a good idea but it helps if you are putting it in rice

You can try to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Man why didn't you listen? Because you cant see water out side you can't say if there isn't water inside. Trust me put it in a bag of rice with all flaps opened. Rice is the cheapest and easiest way to fix a water damage. Known for long time. 70% phones has been fixed by rice
