Help needed! 9.2.A.1.205 OTA update fail on Xperia T

Hi, guys.

I need some help.

I received th OTA 9.2.A.1.205 update 2 days ago but it's not working.

The phone downloads de update but when it starts to install, it imediately crashes on the second progress bar and reboots the phone.

After the reboot, the phone displays a message saying that the update failed and that I should try again.

Download again, try to install and... the same.

Right now, it's impossible to repair with PC Companion or to update via USB because there's some bug that makes it impossible to charge the phone or plug it via USB cable to the PC when the phone is turned off.

Sony already answered to my emails saying that it must be repaired in a  Support Centre, but, where I live, that would mean being without the phone for, at least, a month.

That would also mean chnging my sim card back to a regular one because the other phone I have only uses regular sims.

Does anyone else had this kind of problem? Does anyone know what could be causing this crash or how could I solve it?

Thanks for all the help you can provide me.

Hi, alexdon.

Like I said, the phone doesn't charge when it's off.

Do you think that will chage after 2 hours?

You cannot turn on the phone?

Yes, everything is fine except for that one detail - when the phone is turned off, it does't charge.

If it's turned on, it charges normally and even the PC recognizes it.

But when it's turned off, nothing...

That is odd.I still think you should charge at a wall socket for 2 hours then try to update with SUS.If not helping, visit a sony service and have it checked:

It's still charging but the led doesn't turn on.

Despite all my efforts maybe there's no other option but tech support...
