I saw the 5.1 update on my Z2 tablet, and was putting it off for a while. Finally tapped "Install" tonight... about 5 seconds later, the tablet turned itself all, and I can't do anything to get it back on again. It was as 92% battery and plugged in at the time. I've tried Volume Up + Power, Volume Down + Power, Power itself, Volume Up and Power 3 seconds later, and holding in the orange button by the SD card... and it just won't turn back on. And, it doesn't show up on the computer at all to do it that way. Can anyone help me?
Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2-3 hours > then repair it with PCC

Hi WhiteHusky
Sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing. If the update has failed you will want to repair the software of the tablet through a PC.
Here's how to run the repair on PC Companion:
And Bridge for Mac:
6 . Select your model of phone from the list that appears
You will want to start these processes with the tablet powered off and disconnected from the PC.
Tried that, but it doesn't work because the computer won't recognize the tablet at all since it won't turn on.
I'm not sure why you deleted my post on the tablet forum, since this is a problem with a tablet, but kept the one on the phone forum...?
