Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Authentication

I really love this phone, I downloaded 4 apps that don't really have big size. The phone starts to work really slow. Because I got pissed, I reset the phone. There is a messase prompt pop up that it would take 10 mins. After a few mins, it showed me a picture with option authentication, it requires your email address in order for me to use my phone. I entered my email address and I am really sure about my email and pw. It keeps showing Invalid username and pw. I searched for a basic trouble shooting form different forums. I found out that this is a known issue. A lot of people are experiencing the same issue. Yesterday, I went back to the store where I bought my phone. They are asking me 800 pesos for them to fix it. They say it is out of the warranty because it is a personal reason why it that "authentication" thing showed up. They assumed that I entered my pw incorrectly. I explained that it didnt even ask me for a password, but they answered me " Mam, we are the ones who use your phone, it is you. People with the same issue usually come here cause they entered their password incorrectly." It felt like they were telling  that I was a liar. They asked their technician if he can lower it to 500 and the tech agreed. I needed to ask my friend to lend me money so i would be able to use my phone. The tech didnt even give me a receipt. Slightly_frowning_Face  I got my phone from Fone Style Sm Sta Rosa Laguna

well it is really your responsibility (your email and password). for them to ask a certain amount is another thing. you should've asked someone first before going to them.

Yes I enabled it. I am also aware that when I reset my phone, Authentication will be needed. It asked me for my email address which i did enter. I am very sure about my details. It kept showing that I had invalid username and pw. It is not my fault. It is the phone's fault. I was asked for Authentication not because I entered the pin incorrectly. The saddest part is, I paid 500 pesos for that. I paid for something I didn't really deserve. Slightly_frowning_Face
